Thirty-two postgraduate orthodontic residents from Pakistani medical schools participated in the exercise. Prof. Dr Mubassar Fida of AKUH facilitated the session.

The designs of both removable and fixed orthodontic components were addressed with participants in order to clarify their conceptual understanding and facilitate their practical use.

Participants were instructed on step-by-step design, fabrication, and adjustments of removable and fixed appliances in order to incorporate them into their usual clinical practice.

The workshop concluded with a discussion of participant questions and various clinical case situations.
